My dandruff has stopped for a couple of months now. I've been using Head %26amp; Shoulders Classic Clean and it's worked really well, but I wanna try a different shampoo to get my hair to smell better since my mom is always tlling me it stinks. So how long would I have to wait to switch shampoos? How long do I have to wait to stop using dandruff shampoo after my dandruff stops?
i don't know for sure, but i use head and shoulders as well. i'd think if you shampooed every other day, or maybe a couple of times a week with head and shoulders and used regular shampoo the rest of the time, you might see the same effects. it would probably be best to wean yourself off of it and get your scalp 'used to' being without it. skin is weird--you can condition it to take care of itself (ex. if you use lotion every day, your body will rely on it to have moist skin)How long do I have to wait to stop using dandruff shampoo after my dandruff stops?
wassup, i dont know if u still need this but:
If you use head and shoulders in the begining and at the end of the shower u put a good smelling cologne Report Abuse
Depends. If your dandruf'; is caused by bacterial causes then you may not be able to go on a schedule of using a dandruff shampoo less than every day. However if the severity isn't too bad I think the idea of alternating the dregularf shampoo and regular shampoo could work for you. Maybe even hedge your bets and mix a little of each in your hand? That way you get the dandruff fighting of the dandruff shampoo and the nicer smell of the other one. However, if you ';dandruff'; is really just dry scalp then do be careful of the new shampoo you begin to use. Many people people think they have dandruff ( which IS caused by bactrial agents) when they have dry scalp from too harsh chemicals contained in cheaper shampoos. Inivest in a good shampo and you might find that your ';dandruff'; goes away because you aren't drying out the scalp!
you shouldn't, you have dandruff because your scalp is most likely dry, and head and shoulders helps with that, if you want your hair to smell good, either wash your hair once with head and shoulders and then again with a shampoo that smells good, that way your hair is mousturized (?) and it smells good. OR you can use head and shoulders shampoo and a different conditioner.
If you stop using head and shoulders for some reason it comes back strait away.
Every time I switched it always came back. But not when I used 'fruitous'. Im not sure how to spell it. Its cheaper, smells divine and made my hair a hell of a lot shinier.
when it stops you will always us it just less and less Intel you use it about once a month
