Can anyone reccommend a really good dandruff shampoo?

I'm having some trouble with my dandruff. If flakes up on my scalp really bad. I've tried head and shoulders but it doesn't seem to do anything but make my scalp sore. It's really wierd cause I only get this dandruff problem from time to time. I don't constantly battle dandruff problems. Can anyone reccommend a really good dandruff shampoo?
Since the problem is intermittent, you might just have build up from conditioners %26amp; styling products. Try a clarifying shampoo %26amp; use it at least once a week. Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is the best one.

You can also try a shampoo w/ tea tree oil. My husband really likes Paul Mitchell's tea tree oil shampoo.

It may also just be a case of dry scalp. You can rub in just a tiny drop of jojoba oil on your scalp in the evening %26amp; wash it out in the morning. Jojoba oil is a great moisturizer. It's also non-comedogenic %26amp; washes out easily.

If you still think it is dandruff, I recommend:

Neutrogena Healthy Scalp Shampoo (salicylic acid is the active ingredient; it promotes cell turnover) or Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo - which relies on tar to fight dandruff

Head %26amp; Shoulders Intensive Formula - let lather sit on scalp for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing off.Can anyone reccommend a really good dandruff shampoo?
Use any shampoo with zinc in it. It will work wonders. Try Zincon.
T-Gel from Neutrogena...It is so good
There are umpteen products in the market. But the natural cure is the best.Refer the site below.
Some ppl have said that the Neutrogena T-Gel works
Deborah's Collection has an aloe vera based shampoo that moisturizes your scalp and hair and therefore eliminates a lot of problem dandruff. No chemicals just aloe and other natural ingredients. You can check it out at

I've tried a few, and the best I've found was Head and Shoulders. You may want to talk to your doctor about a perscription shampoo, especially if it's causy an itchy/irritated scalp. The over the counter shampoos are only meant for light cases.
Try the arbonne dandruff shampoo/conditioner it's all natural products and I know a few people who think they work well.
head %26amp; shoulders
Head and shoulders. I'm the same way; I only get dandruff once in a while.
EVER HEARD 0F HEAD %26amp; SH0UlDERS .... USE iT!
Actually baby shampoo is the best for dandruff. Loosen all the flakes from your scalp and then shampoo leave it on your scalp for about 1 min. I have the same problem due to thick hair and very dry skin and I have not had any dandruff for months. Use it every time you shampoo for the first week and then twice a week after that. Give it a try it really works!
head and shoulders is the best you can get it anywhere, walmart has it
Pert helps. Just wash once with Pert, then wash with your regualr shampoo/conditioner. It should help. Make sure not to scratch your scalp.
Denorex Medicated is a really good dandruff shampoo. It's expensive compared to most normal shampoos, costing around 9 bucks, but it's definitely the best I've used.
don't splash out on fancy shampoos just use normal baby shampoo baby shampoo is gentle on the skin so it doesn't irritate the scalp Johnson's baby shampoo is the best so try it
T-Gel from Neutrogena works really well. Good luck!
