What is the best dandruff shampoo to use in clearing up dandruff, particularly the itching?

Its likely that shampoos are whats causing your itching in the first place-just look at the ingredients in most shampoo! Its full of chemical stuff. Your best bet would be to ';shampoo'; with a mixture of baking soda and warm water (not quite a paste, a little thinner than that) Just apply it to the scalp, massage it into the scalp and through the hair, then rinse well. Follow with a rinse of apple cider vinegar diluted with a little water (don't worry, the smell will rinse out) Not only will this help with the dandruff, but will leave your hair super soft, clean, and shiny. (My hair is really long, thick and naturally curly, and this is what I use-my hair is in much better condition since I started doing this) Also, consider food allergies as a source of your dandruff. Put as few chemicals on (and IN) your body to help it heal naturally. Good luck. What is the best dandruff shampoo to use in clearing up dandruff, particularly the itching?
it all depends on the person.. for some a certain shampoo works while for others it doesn't ... but the one which worked for me was Nizoral... it's available over the counter ... and it works great... it's the first shampoo docs recommend.. if that doesn't work then i would suggest a tar based shampoo...What is the best dandruff shampoo to use in clearing up dandruff, particularly the itching?
