Is it ok to use dandruff shampoo while pregnant?

I know it has a chemical called pyrithione zinc in it. Is it ok to use?Is it ok to use dandruff shampoo while pregnant?
Hi sweetie. Pyrithione Zinc is a very strong chemical used specifically for DANDRUFF. I'm a hair professional so ill let u in on some info; only 3% of the UNIVERSE actually has dandruff, so BE SURE that u actually have it. I dont know u personally, but i really think that u may just suffer from FLAKEY SCALP. this is caused from such things as PYRITHIONE ZINC(this activates a sensitive and flakey scalp) OVER WASHING, or not washing ur hair properly. just use a professional moisture based shampoo and conditioner during ur pregnancy and try to minimize ur shampooing to 2-3 times weekly. I HOPE u dont have dandruff coz its a pretty nasty condition. I also think that pyrithione and other chemicals such as sodium laurel sulpahte etc are absorbed thru ur blood stream, and i would especially stay away from them. buy your haircare products from a SALON or haircare outlet and ask one of the sales ppl for advice in a natural based product with the least ammount of chemicals in them. they're everywhere so u'll have no dramas. they do cost more but baby's worth it and as they say ';because you're worth it'; (that and it lasts longer and ends up being more affodable) and good luck with the rest of ur pregnancy (I'M 6wks+1day;) ) xxxIs it ok to use dandruff shampoo while pregnant?
Just on your head
ya it should be as long as you dont eat it =) jk congrats too
Yeah you will be fine.

Obviously once baby is born you use baby shampoo for the baby and not your shampoo.

Best wishes for the birth.
