Is there a better way to treat dandruff rather than washing it every day with dandruff shampoo?

and my hair itches even more when i dry it with a towel. Is there a better way to treat dandruff rather than washing it every day with dandruff shampoo?
Try these home remedies to get rid of dandruff:

- Warm 陆 cup of apple eider vinegar and pour it on the hair. Then wrap a towel around the head and after one hour, wash hair. Do this twice a week for a month.

- Take 2 tablespoons of castor oil and rub it vigorously into scalp and comb the hair.

- Massage 2 tablespoons of tea tree oil into the scalp.

- Heat 2 tablespoons of pure virgin olive oil on the stove until it is warm to the touch. Then wet hair and apply the oil into the scalp with a cotton ball. Massage vigorously and put on a shower cap. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash out the oil with a good shampoo. Apply twice a week.

Have you tried Selsun Blue? It used to work the best. It even worked on my dog who had really bad skin problems when we had exhausted everything the vet had to offer. My grandfather swore by it and I've heard lots of other say it works well.

Maybe whatever product you are using is part of the problem if your scalp is so itchy after you wash your hair. Try the Selsun and if it irritiates your scalp, then try something hypoallergenic.
If you wash your hair everyday, then it can get pretty dry. I think you should use the shampoo and conditioner every other day, and that should work. Also leave-in conditioner works magic. =)
You can get other products to help you, such as mousses. Tea Tree Oil might help as well.
