Why is it recommended not to use anti-dandruff shampoo 2 weeks before a relaxer and 2 weeks after?

I am having a relaxer tomorrow and last week (exactly 7 days ago) I used some Dudley's Scalp and Skin Antiseptic pre shampoo (basically massaging into hair scalp and letting sit for about 30 minutes to remove bacteria on the scalp) and washed one time with Nizoral (OTC version) Anti Dandruff Shampoo and finished up 2 more times with ';regular'; moisturizing shampoo.Why is it recommended not to use anti-dandruff shampoo 2 weeks before a relaxer and 2 weeks after?
Because those shampoos are extremely alkaline. Relaxers mostly have a higher acid ph balance. They'll kind of undo what the relaxers have done to your hair. Baby shampoos are very alkaline also.
